I guess it must be official this year. 2010 is the year of the shoegaze, I even saw today an article about the new shoegazingboom on a rather conservative Dutch website these days.
OK, they think The Big Pink or A Place To Bury Strangers are so far undiscovered but at least they write about them so....

From Colombus comes a band called Love Culture who are as genius (as fresh too) as Ride or The Telescopes with melancholic synths or ....or...or what????
Yes, you heard all these sounds 20 years ago but we missed that melancholy in music for far too long and never, I say never, sounded the American scene that good!
